Two candidate locations for coverage of the Limassol district are located in Asgata and Souni-Zanakia regions. Specifically, Asgata is located 26 km east of the city of Limassol and lies at the border of Limassol and Larnaca districts, being the most eastern village of Limassol. On the other side, the Souni-Zanakia community is about 23 km from Limassol and is located in the west part of the district. Asgata and Souni-Zanakia regions have elevations of 120 and 420 meters above Mean Sea Level, respectively. On the 15th, June 2020, the CyCLOPS team carried out 24h in-situ measurements, to assess the suitability of both locations. The equipment has been temporarily installed in a rocky area to account for stability and safety. Additionally, the specific candidate locations are close to the Cyprus University of Technology premises. Data acquisition was carried out using a Trimble® R9s multi-GNSS receiver equipped with a Zephyr 3 Geodetic antenna.
